
Instructional Designer

Core Responsibilities
- Needs Analysis:
Identify performance gaps and define learning objectives by assessing target audiences and collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs). - Instructional Design:
Create structured, engaging, and instructionally sound course designs, leveraging models such as ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). - eLearning Development:
Build interactive modules, quizzes, simulations, and multimedia components (videos, graphics, etc.) using available tools. - Project Management:
Plan, scope, and oversee eLearning projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and efficient resource use. - Content Development:
Draft and edit technical documents, facilitator guides, training aids, and other instructional resources. - LMS Administration:
Upload and manage course content, handle user enrollment, generate reports, and troubleshoot within the Learning Management System. - Collaboration:
Partner with stakeholders, SMEs, and fellow designers to ensure content accuracy, quality, and alignment with goals. - Evaluation & Testing:
Develop assessments to measure learning outcomes and conduct usability testing for course effectiveness.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Technical:
Proficiency with rapid eLearning tools, multimedia software, and LMS platforms. - Instructional Design:
Strong grasp of instructional design frameworks such as ADDIE. - Multimedia:
Ability to design and integrate graphics, audio, and video into learning materials. - Project Management:
Skilled in managing timelines, deliverables, and team collaboration. - Analytical:
Adept at identifying learning needs, measuring effectiveness, and problem-solving. - Communication:
Excellent written and verbal skills for working with SMEs and presenting designs.
General Requirements
- Must reside
within 30 minutes of Eastwood
. - 100% return-to-office (RTO)
setup for full-time employees.
