Job Description

As a Credit Management Specialist, you will take the lead in overseeing credit control and debt collection processes, ensuring timely payments, managing client relationships, and supporting financial reporting-all while building strategies to improve cash flow and credit systems.

The Qualifications We Seek

• College graduate, preferably in Accounting or Finance-related courses.
• At least 2 years of experience in collections, customer service, or accounts/finance roles.
• Strong background in credit and collections within the BPO industry.
• Experience in managing company finances with a focus on credit control and debt collection.
• Excellent numeracy, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and time management skills.
• Calm under pressure with a professional, diplomatic demeanor.
• Proficient in data entry, MS Excel, and collection software.
• Willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig, or Mandaluyong City.

Your Daily Tasks

Credit Control & Collection

• Manage company finances with a primary focus on credit control and debt collection by contacting clients with overdue accounts.
• Negotiate payment terms and ensure timely follow-ups to secure completed payments.
• Maintain and update client records to reflect payment history, arrangements, and outstanding balances.
• Participate in meetings with clients to resolve disputes or clarify billing and account issues.
• Provide high-quality customer service to address outstanding debts and ensure client satisfaction.

Account Management & Reconciliation

• Record all account activities with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ensure timely reporting, reconciliation, and correct payment allocations.
• Investigate and respond to queries regarding invoices, charges, and payment discrepancies.
• Apply and uphold payment management and credit control policies in all interactions.
• Issue account statements within set deadlines and escalate payment issues as needed.

Internal Collaboration

• Work closely with internal departments to ensure a seamless flow of financial information.
• Contribute insights and recommendations in debt collection meetings to improve outcomes.
• Promote a collaborative and solutions-driven team environment.
• Assist in developing strategies to meet collection targets and performance goals.

Reporting & Administrative Tasks

• Support other accounting functions and participate in assigned financial tasks.
• Prepare required reports for regulatory or compliance purposes as assigned.
• Conduct additional analysis and generate reports based on management needs.
• Perform any additional duties or administrative tasks as assigned by management.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Engage with stakeholders to address credit-related concerns and support timely payments.
