DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?

  • 3–5 years of recent experience in Australian residential mortgage loan assessment (required).
  • Proven delegated approval authority with an Australian-based company or Australian bank/Lending or broking firm.
  • Strong knowledge of lending policies, credit processes, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to analyze complex cases and propose sound, viable solutions.
  • Highly organized with exceptional time management and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in high-pressure environments.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer systems and financial tools.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assess and process complex loan applications, including mortgages, personal loans, and variations.
  • Make accurate and timely credit risk-based decisions in line with credit policies and approval limits.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, third-party partners, and brand networks to deliver superior service levels.
  • Contribute to the development of credit tools, processes, and guidelines to support business growth.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across relevant databases and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal policy requirements.
  • Achieve individual and team KPIs while contributing to overall business objectives.
