Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate production activities to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly output targets.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, ISO, or equivalent).
  • Enforce compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Manage and lead production staff, including scheduling, training, performance evaluation, and discipline.
  • Ensure equipment and machinery are properly maintained and report issues to maintenance when required.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve operational challenges.
  • Track and analyze production performance (output, downtime, waste, efficiency) and implement improvement measures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity, reduce costs, and minimize wastage.
  • Maintain accurate records of production reports, shift logs, and incident reports.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and safety within the production team.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, ISO, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to work on shifts, weekends, or holidays as required.
