Duties and Responsibilities of a Warehouse Supervisor

• Overseeing Daily Operations
• Warehouse Supervisors are responsible for the daily activities within the warehouse. This includes supervising staff, ensuring that operations run smoothly, and maintaining a high level of productivity.
• Inventory Management
• They are tasked with organizing and maintaining inventory levels. This involves tracking incoming and outgoing shipments, conducting regular inventory counts, and ensuring that stock levels are adequate to meet demand.
• Quality Control
• Ensuring the quality of goods received and dispatched is crucial. Warehouse Supervisors must implement quality assurance processes to verify that products meet company standards before they are shipped out.
• Staff Training and Supervision
• Supervisors train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and operational tasks. They also evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and coach staff to improve efficiency.
• Communication with Other Departments
• Effective communication with other departments is essential for coordinating activities such as order fulfillment, shipping schedules, and inventory management.
• Performance Measurement and Reporting
• Warehouse Supervisors measure the effectiveness of warehousing activities by analyzing performance metrics. They report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
• Problem Solving and Process Improvement
• Identifying inefficiencies in workflows or processes is a critical responsibility. Warehouse Supervisors should propose solutions to enhance productivity and streamline operations.
• Compliance with Safety Regulations
• They ensure that all safety regulations are followed within the warehouse environment to prevent accidents and injuries among staff members.
• Customer Interaction
• Warehouse Supervisors may interface with customers to address inquiries or resolve issues related to orders or deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Education and Experience:

• Must have a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a similar discipline is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in supervisory position.
• Must have at least 2 years' experience working on a construction industry
• Proficient in Microsoft office especially in Excel and Word
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with staff and other departments.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills to manage warehouse associates effectively.
• Ability to anticipate and solve problems as they arise in daily operations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure efficient operations.
• Proficiency with data entry and inventory management software systems is necessary for tracking inventory levels and managing stock.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php35,000.00 per month
