POSITION REQUIREMENTS

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the farm, ensuring flock health and productivity, farm efficiency and profitability, and building farm personnel's capability.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitates talent development initiatives like coaching, mentoring, training, etc.
  • Conducts and oversees the performance management activities for all farm personnel such as target setting, performance tracking and feedback giving, performance evaluation, development and rewards planning
  • Analyzes data for farm production vs KPI and recommends and/or implements needed action to ensure delivery of KPIs.
  • Provides guidance and checks compliance of the team to biosecurity, farm management and production efficiency standards, health and safety standards in the layer farm are met and maintained.
  • Recommends and implements methods for improvement based on knowledge and industry trends
  • Prepares production reports and requests for equipment, materials, and supplies
  • Informs Immediate Superior and/or food safety team on any concern related to food Safety Management System
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

Graduate of Veterinary Medicine or any related course, PRC license is an advantage.

EXPERIENCE:

At least 2 years of related work experience in Layer Farm, Growing Farm or Breeder Farm and Hatchery Operations and egg production programs. With at least 1 year in a People Management role. Must be physically fit to work and not allergic to farm pollutants.

FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly in Excel
  • Proficient in Farm Reports preparation and analysis
  • Proficient in Good Animal Husbandry Practices
  • Has basic knowledge in SAP system and application
  • Proficient in evaluating layer farm operations and manpower performance versus established KPIs
  • Has working knowledge on Food Safety and Food Production processes for egg production programs
  • Has experience in training subordinates or new hires
