A. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Admitting Procedures:

  • Collects pertinent data and information from patients.
  • Ensures the completeness and accuracy of patient information.
  • Records and updates the Record of Admissions.
  • Secures signed consent forms from patients.
  • Coordinates room availability for patient accommodation.
  • Explains rates and charges to patients and their relatives.
  • Provides information regarding special procedures and verifies that required deposits have been settled.

HMO Coordination:

  • Possesses knowledge of HMO procedures for outpatient, inpatient, and emergency cases.
  • Secures approvals from patients' HMO providers regarding charges and billings.
  • Verifies patients' eligibility and status with their respective HMO providers.

Recording Patients' Feedback:

  • Compiles patients' feedback as documented in Evaluation Forms.
  • Inputs patients' feedback into the system database.
  • Prepares and submits regular reports to management regarding patients' feedback.

B. SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

  1. Trains incoming Admitting staff/trainees.

  2. Performs other functions as may be deemed necessary from time to time.

C. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • College graduate, proficiency with computer is required. With pleasing personality, good customer relations and excellent communication skills.
