Planning Senior Supervisor for Construction

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, review, and update project schedules using planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project)

  • Lead the preparation of baseline and revised schedules in coordination with the engineering and construction teams

  • Monitor progress and performance of construction activities against the project plan

  • Analyze variances and provide recommendations for schedule adjustments

  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement, and other departments to ensure alignment with project timelines

  • Generate weekly/monthly progress reports, S-curves, look-ahead schedules, and other project planning documents

  • Supervise and mentor junior planners or scheduling staff

  • Conduct site visits and planning meetings to validate progress and anticipate delays

  • Support claims management and extension-of-time analysis when needed

  • Ensure adherence to planning and reporting standards and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

  • At least 5 years experience in construction planning and scheduling

  • Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office Suite

  • Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and resource allocation

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
