Senior Business Analyst

• Contractual (min. of 12 months, renewable)

The Senior Systems/Business Analyst will be responsible to work with program and project managers, product owners, system owners, users, ITD infrastructure and solution delivery team, and other relevant parties in identifying requirements for the HR Service Desk application of BPMSD and other stakeholders including 3rd-party vendors.

The Senior Systems/Business Analyst will have a strong understanding of HR business processes and solid knowledge of modules, tables, views, data management and reporting concepts of ServiceNow. His/her expertise in understanding the business as well as its technical composition will result in efficient gathering and analysis to support the HR functions, business cases and systems requirements.

The Senior Systems/Business Analyst will be responsible for coordinating the efforts of other business analysts within the team and ensure that all data and processes are validated based on the defined requirements. He/she will also ensure that all project deliverables are of high-quality, all of which are in-sync and aligned to the IT Department system guidelines and 3rd Party's specifications.

The Senior Systems/Business Analyst will also investigate and coordinate system issue resolution, which includes but not limited to the enhancements and/or creation of systems packages, procedures and reports.

The Senior Systems/Business Analyst will work under the supervision of and report to IT Department -Digital for Institution division. He/she will work closely with BPMSD and ITIN HR Product Delivery team, decision makers, system owners and end users.

Scope of Work/Responsibilities

1. Obtain a deep understanding of the project client's business processes and operations.

2. Lead the requirements elicitation of the HR Service Desk instance in Service Now, including delivery of artifacts (eg. Business Process Documentation, Functional/Non-Functional Specifications, etc.), and development/creation of detailed User stories, accurate Acceptance Criteria for review and approval by business users.

3. Perform root cause analysis, and work with relevant parties to troubleshoot operational issues associated with application.

4. Plan appropriate solutions based on collaborative efforts with multiple user groups and stakeholders. Prepare and maintain documentation of the same.

5. Assist in work prioritization of on-going and future applications; and align the prioritized deliverables with the Team and Business Users in a timely manner;

6. Conduct knowledge sharing/orientation and training to both Technical Teams and Business Users as needed.

7. Coordinates with vendor resources to clarify requirements and ensure the same standards on planning, execution, and reporting are met as a minimum.

8. Coordinates with the appropriate QA Teams as required. May be involved in System Test (ST), System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression testing, Performance Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

9. May be required to prepare and execute appropriate communication plans including presentations and conduct training on the support team's product.

10. May be asked to review and execute test cases created by QA testers or other BAs as well as create test scripts to support User Acceptance test.

11. Conduct guided UAT sessions with testers from business units and assist during the duration of UAT. May also be required to verify fixes of development team and ensure it complies with Acceptance Criteria defined in each User Story.

Education and Work Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Accounting or any related course.

Minimum of 10 years working experience in Information Technology field

At least 5 years of solid experience in business analysis

Have solid experience in delivering projects using waterfall or agile methodology.

Preferably with experience working in ServiceNow HR Service Desk and/or other ServiceNow modules.

Familiarity with financial institutions' processes is a plus.

Technical Knowledge

5 years of experience in designing and documenting business processes.

5 years of experience in quality assurance and testing IT applications.

Experience in Contact Center or Shared Services solutions and Product Design experience is highly preferred.

Knowledge on an end-to-end solution deployment and management lifecycle based on Waterfall, Iterative and Agile methodology is highly desirable.

Tools/Software

Proficient in Visio and other tools mainly used to create process flow diagrams such as Miro.

Familiarity with ABACUS is a plus

Proficient in using Azure DevOps.

Pay: Php120, Php180,000.00 per month
