Job Description
Strategic & Business Leadership

  • Define and implement the business unit strategy (BUDP), including M&A opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Lead the development of the tropical fruits portfolio for both domestic and export markets.
  • Drive digital transformation and sustainability initiatives across the value chain.

Commercial & Financial Management

  • Own the business unit's P&L, ensuring revenue growth, margin optimisation, and cost control.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions in collaboration with the commercial team.
  • Lead pricing strategy and margin structure in coordination with the pricing and finance teams.

Operations & Supply Chain

Key Account & Channel Management

  • Develop and execute account plans across multiple formats (e.g., Alfamart, 7-Eleven, S&R).
  • Optimize product assortment, distribution, in-store visibility, and promotional strategies.
  • Conduct strategic sales analysis to identify growth opportunities and drive performance.
  • Manage trade spend and ensure ROI on promotional activities.

Distributor Management

  • Build and develop distributor sales team capabilities.
  • Lead and engage territory sales force to achieve execution excellence.
  • Set and monitor performance targets across channels.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams to align on execution plans and deliver joint business objectives.
  • Ensure timely execution of trade plans and new product launches.
  • Safeguard company assets and brand integrity.

Strategic Planning & Performance

  • Develop multi-year customer strategies and drive category growth.
  • Define and oversee execution of channel-specific Perfect Store parameters.
  • Enforce quality and food safety standards.

The Successful Applicant
Must-Haves

  • 7+ years of experience in Sales, with at least 4 years in Modern Trade.
  • Proven success in managing diverse channels and key accounts.
  • Strong distributor management experience.
  • Strategic agility and ability to see the big picture.
  • Financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Soft Skills

  • Hungry for growth and eager to take on expanded responsibilities.
  • Agile and adaptable to fast-changing business environments.
  • Forward-thinking and capable of stepping into a larger leadership role within the next year.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience handling larger-scale businesses or complex accounts.
