The Role
We are currently looking for Finance Officer to join our team in Manila.
An energetic approach, strong work ethic, and high attention to detail are a must. The successful candidates will take pride and ownership in the role, and be confident to work with remote supervision, handling multiple priorities and stakeholders, within tight deadlines.
Education
At the minimum a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Management.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and analyzing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Manage the full set of accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial reports with applicable accounting standards to ensure the company's financial health and compliance.
- Managing BIR monthly and yearly compliance and other government requirements.
- Perform and coordinate with cross-functional teams to support operational and administrative needs.
- Ensuring the company's compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Handling invoices in the full spectrum of accounting functions.
- Handling bank reconciliation.
- Working closely with external auditors for all audit-related matters
- Managing and preparing payroll and statutory payments.
- Mentoring and developing the finance and admin team to foster a high-performing and collaborative work environment.
- Other relevant finance and admin ad-hoc tasks that may arise.
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar finance and administration management role.
- Minimum of 5 years in a Middle Management Position
- Proven track record of implementing financial controls, optimizing processes, and driving operational efficiency
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in using financial management software, Dynamics 365, Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
- Experience in payroll and statutory payments is highly required.
- Experience in accounting processes, government compliance, and administrative functions is highly required.
- Passionate about contributing to the growth and success of a dynamic, fast-paced organization
