The Business Process Manager role is to bolster organizational operational efficiency by driving process enhancements and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The incumbent will act as a bridge between departments to standardize procedures, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize workflows to adapt to changing business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process Documentation, Standardization, and Compliance

  • Responsibility: Lead the comprehensive documentation of existing business processes to ensure they are complete, aligned with organizational standards, and fully compliant with regulating bodies (BOC, FDA).
  • Key Performance Metric: Maintenance and accuracy of the central Process Database.

2. Process Analysis and Improvement

  • Responsibility: Collaborate closely with Team Leaders and cross-functional members to map current workflows, conducting gap analyses to identify areas requiring standardization or significant improvement. proactively analyze operations to develop and submit actionable recommendations for optimization.
  • Key Performance Metric: Completeness of procedure documentation and the quality/volume of Recommended Improvements.

3. Business Continuity Planning (BCP)

  • Responsibility: Spearhead the implementation of the organization's Business Continuity Plan, ensuring all necessary training is attended and strategies are executed according to schedule.
  • Key Performance Metric: Adherence to BCP Timelines.

4. Operational Monitoring and Claims Management

  • Responsibility: Oversee internal procurement tracking to ensure departmental purchase requests are fulfilled within agreed-upon lead times.
  • Responsibility: Manage the insurance claims process for rejected shipments suspected of damage. This involves ensuring initial reporting occurs within 7 days and complete requirement submissions are filed within 30 days, coordinating closely with QA, Imports, and Finance.
  • Key Performance Metric: Adherence to PO delivery and Provide assistance to Insurance filing Timelines.

5. Performance Metrics and Cost Control

  • Responsibility: Track, analyze, and report on key functional performance metrics with the specific goal of identifying cost-saving opportunities and improving overall operational effectiveness.
  • Key Performance Metric: Monitoring of cost reduction and efficiency gains.
