There are two Chevron companies operating in the Philippines: Chevron Holdings Incorporated (CHI) and Chevron Philippines Incorporated (CPI).

CHI is a shared services center providing transactional, processing, and consulting services in the areas of finance and accounting, information technology, supply chain management, human resources, downstream customer service and marketing. Established in 1998, CHI serves Chevron affiliates in six continents around the world. Over the years, it has grown to be one of the leading members of the shared services industry in the Philippines.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Specialist, Expediting. This role will be based in 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines.

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be asked to complete a variety of procurement operations tasks and work on projects simultaneously.

The position provides various supply chain operational support for Chevron companies in Australia. The Procurement Specialist will have opportunities to interact with business unit customers and SCM managers, suppliers, warehouse personnel, freight forwarders, and other functional groups like Finance and IT.

The Procurement Specialist – Order Management monitors the delivery status of open PO line items. The Order Management Specialist conducts follow-up expediting by providing a weekly summary of estimate delivery dates, resolves issues concerning late deliveries, and applies trace and escalation procedures for overdue purchase orders.

As Order Management /Expeditor, you will be asked to:

• Expedite normal and critical orders for ABU base business and turnaround activities

• Coordinate delivery schedule with material coordinators, planners, buyers, end users, warehouse, etc.

• Manage reports to be used for planning event shutdowns

• Conduct weekly meetings with ABU stakeholders, identified and critical suppliers

• Create metrics, activity analysis and adhoc reports

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Accountancy, or any business course

• Demonstrate excellent planning, business, analytical, and communication skills

• Must have 3-5 years relevant experience in Order Expediting/Buying/Buyer Process / Procurement / Supply Chain function

• Must be open to learning and exploring a variety of Procurement/Supply Chain business areas

• Must be open to go on shifting schedules (Morning - Mid - Night)

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Diploma/Certificate in Procurement/Supply Chain Management would be an advantage

• Knowledge in Procurement process, Contracting, e-Sourcing, contract administration, and eProcurement would be an advantage

• Knowledge in ERP tools such as SAP/JDE/Ariba/Smart GEP would be an advantage

• Must have a strong communication, analytical and decision-making, advanced excel skills
