QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in any program, preferably Information Technology, Supply Chain Management and Business Administration related courses
  • 1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles (entry-level candidates may be considered)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of procurement policies, sourcing best practices, and vendor management

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducting research on potential products, suppliers, distributors, and services,
  • Must always be updated on current market prices and look for other suppliers with better deals.
  • Meeting with suppliers and clients to negotiate the best contracts.
  • Liaising with delivery and warehouse teams to ensure goods are received on time.
  • Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, warranty servicing, and other problems.
  • Writing reports on purchases made, performing cost analyses and updating all records of purchased products.
