Job Objectives

  • The Facilities Engineer assumes the responsibility in maintenance of all the buildings and facility equipment of the company.
  • Working under minimum supervision, the Facilities Engineer leads in monitoring building and facilities operations and performance

Roles and Responsibilities

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:

  • Monitors the facility's conditions to ensure that it remains safe, secured, and well-maintained.
  • Identifies, diagnoses, and corrects facility operating system's problems; performs preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Maintains facility's electrical and mechanical operating system including electrical, air-conditioning, and fire appliances
  • Prepares maintenance plans and schedule, and ensures records are kept
  • Interprets structural, civil, electrical, and mechanical drawings
  • Reviews work orders and ensure completion of the approved ones.
  • Monitors any construction, refurbishment and renovation works in the company and tracks their quality and timely completion.
  • Monitors the use of utilities in the company and implements improvements and conservation measures.
  • Provides technical assistance to all associates in relation to the facility scope
  • Responds quickly to emergency situations in the facility.
  • Authorize to shut-off any facility equipment when necessary, and in case of emergency
  • Corrects any unsafe working conditions related to facilities, buildings and environment.
  • Responsible for transacting entries on Purchase Requisition, Request for Payment, Cash Advance, Release of Purchase Receipts, and FG Stock Withdrawal using the company Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Performs such other duties and responsibilities analogous, germane, or related to and/or implied in the above enumerated duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Education

  • Graduate of Electrical Engineering course, with Licensed

Experience/ Expertise

  • At least seven (7) years of work related experience in a manufacturing set-up and three (3) years of which are in supervisory capacity in manufacturing set- up.
  • Ability to build partnerships and many levels of the organization, internally and externally.
  • Multi plant management experience.
  • Knowledge of components of electrical devices associated with pneumatic, hydraulic systems such as central system pressure switches.

  • Working knowledge on any Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
