Our client is a fast-growing SaaS company in the EdTech space, dedicated to transforming access to high-quality educational content. Their mission is to make learning more engaging and effective, with a flagship platform that connects educators and learners across the globe. Pivotl Solutions is taking over their HR Operations and now seeking a skilled HR Manager to lead organizational development, compliance, benefits administration, and employee engagement.

About the Role

The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of people operations, including HR policy, employee relations, talent acquisition support, performance management, and compliance—as the company continues to scale rapidly. This is a hands-on role requiring both strategic insight and tactical execution, supporting a distributed workforce across the U.S. and internationally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, performance review cycles, and offboarding.
  • Maintain and execute HR policies, employee handbooks, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international employment laws and recordkeeping requirements.
  • Oversee payroll and benefits administration, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Support recruitment through job postings, candidate coordination, and collaboration with hiring managers.
  • Consult with leadership on organizational planning, staffing, and employee development strategies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance improvements.
  • Analyze HR metrics and recommend actions that promote employee engagement and retention.
  • Drive culture-building initiatives aligned with the company's values and mission.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in an HR leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar field (SHRM-SCP or PHR preferred).
  • Experience working with distributed or remote teams.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices in the U.S. (international HR experience a plus).
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving tech environment.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, ATS platforms, and performance management tools.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in SaaS, tech, or high-growth startup environments.
  • Background in managing HR compliance across multiple states or countries.
  • Prior involvement in organizational development, employee engagement, or culture initiatives.
