Purpose
The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) - Generalist is assigned to various projects and plays a crucial role in supporting the Head of HR, Prime Energy's HR department and the organization. Included in the scope of this role is to lead integration and/or consolidation of process, systems and ways of working (business as usual and improvements/ transformation) including operationalization of initiatives of the HR BP group. Responsibilities are diverse and can vary based on the specific projects that he/she is working on, but generally include the following -
THE ROLE
- Talent Acquisition: Involvement in managing recruitment and onboarding for project-specific, base business and internship roles. This includes screening, conducting interviews and facilitating onboarding of new hires, working with L&D and key project/ business focals to craft an Onboarding plan for project hires & staff.
- Global Mobility and Expatriate Management: In partnership with the HR Focal, oversee expatriate employees' management, collaborating with third-party vendors and HR to address diverse employee needs. Support Total Rewards in finalizing Foreign Local Hires Compensation and Benefits Policy; documentation, cascade and institutionalizing in support of Total Rewards and the Project Sinagtala HRAM.
- Performance Management: Involvement in monitoring and evaluating the performance of employees in specific projects to ensure alignment with project goals. Scheduling, coordination and completion of all Line Manager upskilling sessions for Performance Management and Performance Rating in support of the Total Rewards group.
- Exit Management: Handle the offboarding process for employees transitioning out of the project roles, or when projects conclude. This includes the implementation of the offboarding steps/ checklist, conducting exit interviews and ensuring all necessary paper works are completed.
Partner with HRBPs and HR COE Focals to ensure delivery of the HR plans and HR strategies at the organization level. This includes HR programs and projects coordination for the following:
New Leaders/ Line Managers Upskilling on all existing Prime Energy Policies – as main Project to complete – to be assisted by L&D
- Support new Leaders/ Line Managers Sessions on New Prime Energy Leadership & Staff Competencies – with L&D HRBP
- Internship Program with Talent Acquisition
- Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Programs & Sessions – with L&D HR BP
- Employee Relations/Industrial Relations (ER/IR) Programs & Sessions – with Head of HR
Back-up HR BP for Projects. May act as back-up HR BP for Departments within Base Business if/when there are adhoc high-volume/ influx activities that need support; business continuity-related needs or as identified or endorsed by the Head of HR.
HR Metrics, Processes and Systems: Design and manage HR Data Analytics, KPIs and Metrics to enhance the existing dashboard and performance management processes and outcomes of the HR team. Spearhead Continuous Improvement, HR digitalization and AI initiatives implementation.
- Oversight and support in managing and ensuring cost efficiency of the HR and RE departmental budget in coordination with the Head of HR-RE as the Budget owner and Finance focal/ partner.
- Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor (Head of HR)
THE INDIVIDUAL
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in HR generalist or HR business partner roles
- Proven track record in managing end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
- Experience in expatriate management and global mobility coordination
- Familiarity with performance management systems and processes
- Exposure to HR metrics, analytics, and dashboard development
- Background in managing HR budgets and cost-efficiency initiatives
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms and data analytics tools
- Ability to lead integration and transformation initiatives across systems and processes
- Skilled in coordinating HR programs such as DE&I, ER/IR, and leadership development
- Strong facilitation skills for training and upskilling sessions
- Capable of handling sensitive employee relations matters with discretion and professionalism
- Adaptable and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to support organizational change and continuous improvement
- Strategic mindset with operational execution skills
- Experience in supporting business continuity and acting as HR BP back-up for high-volume or ad hoc needs
- Willing to work onsite in Alabang from Monday to Friday
- Open to a four (4) year contract
