Jardin de Miramar is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to support our finance team. The ideal candidate will handle bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, disbursements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general administrative tasks. This role ensures the smooth financial operations of the company and helps maintain accurate records for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial data.
  • Disbursements: Process payments, manage petty cash, and prepare necessary documentation for approvals.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Track invoices, process payments, follow up on outstanding balances, and ensure timely collection.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and updating general ledger accounts.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports and statements as required.
  • Administrative Support: Perform general administrative duties, such as filing, record-keeping, and document organization.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, bank reconciliation, and accounts management.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
