Job Summary:

The Accounts Officer will be responsible for managing the financial transactions and accounts related to manufacturers and suppliers. This role involves maintaining accurate records, processing payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable related to manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions with manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Process invoices, verify purchase orders, and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to validate invoice accuracy.
  • Monitor and report on outstanding balances and overdue payments.
  • Prepare periodic financial reports related to supplier/manufacturer accounts.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain good relationships with manufacturers and suppliers through clear communication.
  • Support audits by providing relevant documentation and explanations.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement in accounts handling.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience in accounts payable/receivable, preferably handling supplier/manufacturer accounts.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php21,000.00 per month
