Join a dynamic operations team supporting a leading US-based client in the supply industry. We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical General Accounting / AR Associate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and can manage complex financial transactions with accuracy and ownership.

This role supports both accounting and inventory management functions, ensuring the accuracy of financial records and seamless coordination across warehouse, sales, and purchasing teams. You will also play a key role in reconciling high-volume Amazon transactions and improving overall process efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

Inventory Investigation and Management

  • Review and investigate nonstock and direct inventory discrepancies within the ERP system.
  • Analyze transaction flows involving Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Warehouse Transfers, and Inventory Control postings.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, sales, and purchasing teams to identify root causes and resolve inventory issues.
  • Identify appropriate disposition of inventory: locate, write off, correct sales orders, or initiate vendor paperwork as needed.
  • Document findings and communicate resolutions clearly via email.

Amazon Accounts Receivable Reconciliation

  • Assist in reconciling Amazon AR transactions processed by the automated robotics system.
  • Review reconciliation logs to determine reasons for unmatched or unreconciled invoices.
  • Collaborate with the Amazon account team, accounting, IT, and robotics vendor to improve matching accuracy.
  • Manually reconcile payments and invoices when necessary.
  • Access Amazon Seller Central to verify transaction status and investigate discrepancies.

General Accounting Functions

  • Manage a full set of books, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Bank Reconciliation, and Inventory Management following US accounting standards.

Qualifications

Required:

  • At least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in AR, AP, or general accounting.
  • Strong understanding of US accounting standards.
  • Voice customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Strong internet navigation and system literacy.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand and navigate ERP systems.

Good to Have:

  • Experience handling Amazon Seller Central transactions.
  • Background in inventory control or supply chain.
  • Experience in process improvement or working with automated reconciliation tools.
