Maintenance Supervisor

Purpose of the Position: Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor is accountable and responsible for facilitating the maintenance, repair, and acquisition of all mobile equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Direct the vehicle and equipment maintenance, repair, and acquisition activities.

  2. Assign, supervise and evaluate the work of assigned staff; advise, assist and train subordinates as necessary; conducts performance appraisal of subordinates.

  3. Administer the diagnosis of mechanical, electrical, computerized, and hydraulic problems in vehicles and equipment in order to identify necessary repairs overhauls and modifications.

  4. Supervise the preparation, of daily, monthly, and annual summary reports and maintain records of assigned operations.

  5. Respond to the resolution of inquiries, complaints, or requests for information regarding the area of assignment.

  6. Handle the more complex and/or sensitive issues.

  7. Inspect and monitor work in progress and upon completion, equipment, tools, and other areas of responsibility.

  8. Coordinate with Safety Officer/Supervisor with regards to safety toolbox meeting.

  9. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

1. Mechanical Engineering graduate; preferable licensed professional

  1. At least two (2) years experience in vehicle and/or heavy equipment mechanical maintenance, three (3) years of supervisory or leading hand capacity.

  2. Knowledge of the principles and methods of the vehicle and heavy equipment repair and maintenance. Gas and diesel engines, automobile electronics, transmissions, electrical, air, and hydraulic systems, and related mechanical systems.

  3. High level of interpersonal skills and integrity

  4. Creative, forward thinker

  5. Ability to deliver effective results, and meet tight deadlines and targets.

  6. Ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.

  7. Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.

  8. A reliable professional who follows the organization and department procedures, and completes tasks in a timely manner.

Willing to work in San Ildefonso, Bulacan.
