Upholsterer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

A.Cutting & Sewing

Sand wooden furniture pieces manually or using power tools to achieve smooth surfaces.

Remove excess glue, uneven edges, and other imperfections from the wood.

B.Inspection and Quality Control:

Inspect surfaces for defects and ensure all sanding meets production specifications.

Identify and report flaws or irregularities to the supervisor.

C.Tools & Equipment Maintenance

Maintain and clean sanding tools and machines regularly.

Report malfunctioning equipment for repairs.

D.Safety & Compliance

Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

E.Collaboration

Coordinate with the painting or finishing teams to ensure smooth workflow.

Communicate effectively with other production team members.

F.Other Duties:

Assist in additional tasks as needed to support the team and company objectives.

Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment.
