Backhoe Operator

Responsibilities:

• Operate backhoe and other heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform excavation, trenching, grading, and backfilling tasks as required by the project.
• Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Follow site safety rules, signals, and instructions from the engineer.
• Assist with loading/unloading materials and other tasks when needed.
• Report any mechanical issues or damages to the supervisor immediately.

Qualifications:

• At least High School graduate (Vocational or TESDA-certified Heavy Equipment Operator preferred).
• With at least 2 years of experience operating a backhoe in construction projects.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and Heavy Equipment Operator certificate.
• Knowledge of basic equipment maintenance and safety procedures.
• Physically fit and willing to be assigned at project sites.
