Key Responsibilities

  • Driving and Operation: Safely operate a mini-dump truck, like an Isuzu Elf, for hauling and transporting materials to and from construction sites, mines, or other designated locations.
  • Material Handling: Ensure proper loading of construction materials such as dirt, sand, gravel, or debris, and verify material types and weight restrictions.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to check fluid levels, tires, lights, and other essential vehicle components, and perform basic maintenance as needed.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company and site-specific safety protocols while operating the truck, loading, and unloading materials.
  • Logistics and Reporting: Keep accurate records of materials transported and report any discrepancies or maintenance issues to supervisors.
  • Communication: Coordinate with site supervisors, foremen, or dispatchers to ensure timely delivery schedules and efficient project progres

Skills and Qualifications

  • Driver's License: Possess a valid professional driver's license with appropriate restrictions (e.g., Restriction 1, 2, 3) that allow for the operation of a mini-dump truck.
  • Experience: Prior experience driving heavy vehicles, such as dump trucks or 6-wheeler trucks, is often preferred.
  • Safety Awareness: A strong commitment to safety, including familiarity with safety gear and procedures.
  • Basic Knowledge: Understanding of basic vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance is beneficial.
