Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Industrial/Management Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or related course
  • With 5+ years of experience in QA/testing
  • Hands-on experience in API and SQL testing
  • Skilled in creating test cases, test scripts, and Master Test Plans
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, Test Design Techniques, SDLC (Agile & Waterfall)
  • Familiar with QA tools, standards, and processes
  • Exposure to manufacturing, distribution, or financial operations is an advantage
  • Experience in leading small QA teams a plus
  • ISTQB certification preferred but not required
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Flexible with shifting schedules, extended hours, and travel requirements

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements and translate into functional specifications and test cases
  • Design test plans, write and execute test cases/scripts, and prepare test data
  • Conduct system, integration, and regression testing
  • Log and track defects, prepare test summary reports and acceptance certificates
  • Review test cases/scripts prepared by team members and provide feedback
  • Ensure adherence to QA standards, SDLC, and company guidelines
  • Collaborate with developers, business users, and other QA team members
  • Support continuous improvement of QA processes
  • Mentor and guide junior QA members when needed
