JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager to oversee construction and expansion projects from initiation to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects while ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, quality standards, and safety regulations in compliance with Philippine construction laws and industry practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Planning & Management

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation
  • Create detailed project schedules and monitor progress against established milestones
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for construction and expansion projects
  • Coordinate project activities across multiple phases from pre-construction to project closeout
  • Implement project management methodologies and best practices

Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead cross-functional project teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors
  • Facilitate effective communication between all project stakeholders
  • Conduct regular project meetings and provide status updates to senior management
  • Manage relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies
  • Oversee the performance of general contractors and site managers

Budget & Resource Management

  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control throughout project lifecycle
  • Review and approve project expenditures and change orders
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers
  • Monitor material procurement and manage inventory requirements
  • Handle client invoicing and accounts receivable related to project milestones

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Ensure all construction work meets quality standards and specifications
  • Monitor compliance with Philippine building codes, safety regulations, and environmental requirements
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality control assessments
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols and security measures
  • Manage permit applications and regulatory approvals

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and records
  • Prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders and management
  • Document project lessons learned and best practices for future reference
  • Ensure proper handover documentation upon project completion

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree and Licensed Professional Civil Engineer certification.

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a strong advantage

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in construction project management

  • Proven track record managing large-scale construction or expansion projects

  • Experience with Warehousing (Cold or Dry) Projects

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, or other construction design software

  • Familiarity with cost estimation and budget management tools
  • Understanding of Philippine construction industry standards and practices
  • Willing to relocate to active construction project sites as needed.
