Job Description

As a Bookkeeper, you will manage end-to-end bookkeeping activities for a large international property portfolio. You'll handle high-volume transactions, ensure accurate financial records, and maintain compliance across multiple entities using Xero. Your work will directly support operational efficiency, financial transparency, and informed decision-making across the business.

The Qualifications We Seek

• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably within the property or hospitality industry
• Proficient in Xero or MYOB, with strong knowledge of invoicing, reconciliation, and financial reporting
• Solid understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage high-volume transactions across multiple properties

Your Daily Tasks

Xero Expertise

• Proficiently utilize Xero or MYOB for all bookkeeping functions, including invoicing, expenses, reconciliation, and reporting
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records within Xero
• Ensure data integrity across all transactions

Accounts Payable and Receivable

• Manage vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations
• Handle customer invoicing, payments, and collections efficiently

Payroll Processing

• Assist in payroll calculations, deductions, and tax withholdings
• Maintain accurate payroll records in Xero

Financial Reporting

• Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Support year-end reporting and tax preparation activities

Reconciliations & Compliance

• Conduct regular bank and financial reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with BAS, PAYGW, and relevant financial standards
