
Import Assistant

This is a full-time on-site role located in Pasig for an Import Assistant. The Import Assistant will be responsible for coordinating daily import and export operations, including tracking and reporting shipment statutes, handling customs clearance, and ensuring compliance with International trade laws and regulations. The Import Assistant will also collaborate with a cross-functional team to identify business opportunities and provide customized solutions to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of goods.
- Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 1 - 2 years of experience in import/export or logistics.
- Experience in import and export operations, including familiarity with customs procedures and regulations with a proven track record in maintaining accurate data and documentation.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail with ability to analyze data and provide insights and recommendations.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, internal trade and logistics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, logistics software, and/or other relevant software applications.
- Experience with handling international documentation, such as bills, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision.
