HR Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and assist with the end-to-end recruitment process, from posting job ads to scheduling interviews and conducting initial candidate screenings. Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure an efficient hiring process.
- Draft, review, and manage employment contracts and related documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- Administer employee benefits programs, such as HMO enrolment, allowances, rice grants, scholarship grants, and other programs. Respond to employee inquiries and resolve issues related to benefits.
- Provide guidance on workplace matters and helping to resolve conflicts or concerns. Maintain a fair and positive work environment.
- Assist in handling employee disciplinary matters, ensuring all processes are fair, documented, and compliant with legal and company policies.
- Monitor employee timekeeping and ensure the accurate recording of attendance, leaves, and overtime. Support payroll processing by ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute employee engagement initiatives, including company events, team-building activities, and recognition programs.
- Provide administrative support across a range of HR functions, including maintaining employee records, processing onboarding paperwork, and assisting with training coordination.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in an HR Assistant or HR Coordinator role, with a strong understanding of sourcing, benefits administration, employee relations, and timekeeping. Experience with disciplinary processes is a plus.
- Familiarity with HR policies, employment law, and best practices.
- Proficient with HRIS systems
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Event planning experience and ability to organize engaging employee activities.
- Flexible and adaptable to pressure, with a proven ability to handle shifting priorities
