Job Highlights

- Contract: Independent Contractor
- Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an "Independent Contractor," the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
Responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments
- Handle all accounts receivable functions including invoicing, collections, and customer account management
- Utilize Sage 100 ERP system for all accounting transactions and financial record maintenance
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to document processes and improve efficiency
- Collaborate directly with operations management on financial planning and cash flow optimization
- Maintain meticulous financial records with attention to detail and accuracy
- Support month-end closing processes and financial reporting activities
- Provide consistent, reliable financial operations support as a dedicated team member
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk with specific expertise in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Proficiency with Sage 100 ERP system or ability to quickly master similar enterprise accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping
- Excellent time management abilities with proven track record of working independently
- Experience creating process documentation or strong willingness to develop SOPs
- Outstanding communication skills for direct collaboration with management team
- Commitment to consistency and reliability in a part-time role
- Professional attitude and ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
