About the role:

This is a hybrid work set-up. As a Unit Manager, and Agency Leader, your primary role is to build, lead, and empower your own team of Financial Advisors. You will be responsible for recruiting, training, and mentoring your team to help them meet their sales goals. This is a leadership position focused on driving team performance, with the structure and support to help you grow a thriving business unit within Manulife. You will be in charge of:

Recruiting: Connect with people from different industries to explore if they are open to maximizing their potential in a performance-based and purpose-driven career. Identify those who are a good fit for the Financial Advisor role and invite them to career orientation programs.

Mentoring: Guide new and existing team members through hands-on training, regular check-ins, and one-on-one coaching to build their confidence, sharpen their skills, and help them close their first sales.

Creativity: Think of fresh ways to attract applicants, create engaging campaigns for recruitment and sales, and use digital platforms to reach the right people with the right message.

Culture Building: Build a team environment that values discipline, growth, support, and accountability. Celebrate wins, address challenges early, and inspire a shared vision for success.

Collaboration: Work closely with branch leadership and fellow managers to share best practices, align strategies, and contribute to the overall growth of Mighty House.

Activity Monitoring: Track the daily activities and performance metrics of your team. Help advisors stay consistent by reviewing their pipeline, setting weekly targets, and following up on client interactions.

Strategic Planning: Set clear monthly and quarterly goals for your team. Help each member develop a simple yet focused business plan, and ensure team efforts align with long-term branch objectives.

About the candidate:

We're looking for experienced professionals with a strong background in sales, leadership, or business development. Ideally, you have at least 5 years of experience in industries like insurance, banking, real estate, pharmaceuticals, B2C or B2B sales. You should be confident in leading people, passionate about helping others grow, and driven by goals.
