FUNCTIONAL/OPERATIONAL:

Core Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Analyze inventory data to forecast future needs and maintain efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to improve inventory management processes.
  • Implement strategies to enhance inventory management and analyze data for insights.
  • Assist in monitoring inventory levels and ensuring accuracy in stock counts
  • Conduct routine data analysis to identify trends and discrepancies
  • Support the inventory management team in executing replenishment strategies
  • Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to streamline processes and improve inventory turnover
  • Prepare and maintain inventory reports to provide visibility to stakeholders
  • Participate in regular physical inventory audits and assist with reconciliation processes
  • Gather data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy and relevance by filtering out errors and handling missing values.
  • Utilize statistical tools and techniques to explore and analyze data, identifying patterns, trends, and relationships that inform business strategies
  • Create visual representations of data findings through charts, graphs, and dashboards to make complex data understandable for stakeholders
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate insights and findings, influencing policy and decision-making processes within the organization
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support for informed decision-making

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Technical writing skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to set and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in high-pressure situations
  • Experience with statistical software (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central an advantage)
  • Data visualization and reporting skills
  • Attention to detail

OCCASIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify areas that need improvement in the satisfaction of external & internal customers (internal customers also mean user department).
  • Identify bottlenecks that are likely to have a direct impact on optimal performance.
  • Identify areas that need improvement in employees' competencies & satisfaction.

QUALIFICATION (Education):

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree - Field of Study: Any Field (BS Industrial Engineering, BS Mathematics, and other Supply Chain related course is an advantage)

DESIRED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of two to three (2-3) years of related experience in a supply chain, warehousing or logistics function

DESIRED ROLE EXPOSURE:

  • Proven work experience in inventory and data analysis
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
