Business Development Officer

About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Officer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in driving business growth, identifying new opportunities, and supporting the company's strategic initiatives through research and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Executive Assistant to both the CEO/SGO by providing comprehensive administrative, strategic, and project support.
- Participate in executive-level planning and coordination, ensuring effective cross-functional communication between divisions such as Sales, Operations, Finance, and Business Development.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and internal documentation for executive review, maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and timeliness in all deliverables.
- Develop financial projections to forecast revenues, expenses, and profitability, offering insights that support strategic and financial planning.
- Conduct market and industry research to analyze trends, assess competitors, and identify emerging business opportunities.
- Manage administrative functions such as scheduling, record-keeping, and correspondence to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
- Design and implement business plans outlining company goals, target markets, and growth strategies.
- Create and deliver business proposals to potential clients, partners, and investors to promote partnerships and business expansion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in business development, research, or a related field.
- Previous experience in consulting or research environments is required.
- Strong analytical, research, and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate with a team.
- Willing to travel for fieldwork and client meetings.
- Ability to travel occasionally on a monthly basis for client meetings and fieldwork.
