Position Summary
The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining effective visual merchandising strategies across all retail locations. This role ensures that product displays, point-of-purchase (POP) materials, and in-store collaterals are consistently aligned with brand guidelines, while maximizing sales opportunities, securing prime in-store locations, and enhancing the overall customer shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
A. POPs (Point-of-Purchase) Management
- Develop and release an official POP guideline based on HQ directives, ensuring full compliance by the retail team. Update guidelines promptly whenever revisions are issued by HQ.
- Collect the POP requirements from retail coordinator team and coordinate with marketing team about the purchase, and then release to the RC team.
- Manage the complete inventory cycle of demo materials (ordering, allocation, releasing, and monitoring accountabilities), including processing of PS clearance.
- Ensure racks, fixtures, and other collaterals are in good condition and meet established brand display standards.
- Review POP implementation through retail coordinators' daily store visits and consolidate findings into a weekly POPs report.
B. Display Management
- Ensure store displays are fully utilized and maximized for product visibility; prevent empty shelves and displays dominated by competing brands.
- Secure prime in-store locations for brand displays to maximize customer visibility and foot traffic.
- Oversee and update store categories, graphics, and display inventories regularly.
- Develop store-level product display guidelines and ensure strict adherence by the Retail Coordinator (RC) team.
- Monitor the display of key models, consolidate RCs' daily display reports, identify potential stores and prime display locations, and provide recommendations to Key Account Managers (KAM) for display unit placements.
C. marketing campaign operation
Plan, coordinate, and execute the setup of marketing campaign, including instore or outstore exhibits.
Special displays, and promotional installations in line with brand objectives and seasonal campaigns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Design, or any related field.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in visual merchandising, preferably in the home appliance, consumer electronics, or FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, display standards, and customer behavior.
- Proficient in MS Office and visual planning tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, or similar).
- Good sense of design, color coordination, and brand consistency.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
- Willing to travel for store visits, installations, and display audits.
- Flexible and hands-on, able to work under minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php30, Php35,000.00 per month
