Job Title: E-Commerce Merchandiser
Overview

The E-Commerce Merchandiser is responsible for managing and enhancing the online product assortment to optimize visibility, customer experience, and sales performance. This role ensures that all product information, visual assets, and merchandising strategies are executed accurately and in alignment with business objectives.


Work Arrangement and Schedule
  • Workdays: Monday to Friday
  • Rest Days: Saturday and Sunday (Fixed Weekends Off)
  • Work Schedule: United States Graveyard Shift; start of shift between 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Job Classification: Rank-and-File; specialized role not requiring supervisory or people management responsibilities
  • Work Location: 27th Floor, Tycoon Centre, Ortigas Central Business District

Key Responsibilities
Product and Content Management
  • Develop, maintain, and update product listings across designated e-commerce platforms.
  • Ensure that all product information, specifications, and descriptions are complete, accurate, and optimized for search visibility.
  • Manage product images, videos, and related digital assets to ensure consistency with brand standards.
Merchandising and Sales Optimization
  • Implement online merchandising strategies to improve product visibility, customer engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Analyze product and category performance and recommend data-driven actions to maximize sales.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams regarding campaigns, promotions, and new product launches.
Analytics and Reporting
  • Monitor key performance indicators such as sales, traffic, conversion rate, and inventory levels.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports on product performance and merchandising activities.
Inventory Coordination
  • Liaise with inventory, supply chain, and warehouse teams to ensure stock accuracy and availability.
  • Monitor product assortment to prevent stockouts, overselling, and discrepancies.
  • Support product lifecycle management including new arrivals, transitions, and phase-outs.
Customer Experience Support
  • Ensure that online store pages, categories, and product placements are aligned with brand guidelines and merchandising plans.
  • Provide product-related information to customer service teams as needed.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in e-commerce, digital merchandising, or online retail is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce content management systems and digital merchandising tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and e-commerce merchandising best practices.
  • Experience using analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Shopify Analytics.
  • Basic competency in graphic editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop) is considered an advantage.
