Job Overview: Merchandising Assistant (Retail Background - Audit and Merchandise)

The Merchandising Assistant provides essential support to the merchandising team in planning, sourcing, and managing product assortments to drive sales and profitability. With a strong retail background, the role involves close coordination with suppliers, monitoring inventory and sales performance, and ensuring that stores are consistently stocked with the right products at the right time. This position plays a key role in executing merchandising strategies that enhance the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in product selection, pricing, and inventory planning to align with sales goals and market demand
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors regarding product orders, deliveries, and price negotiations
  • Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, and replenishment requirements across store locations
  • Analyze sales data and customer behavior to support effective merchandising decisions
  • Maintain and update product catalogs, pricing sheets, and promotional materials
  • Support the execution of visual merchandising standards to ensure appealing and strategic product displays
  • Collaborate with store operations and marketing teams to implement promotional campaigns and seasonal launches
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales trends, inventory status, and supplier performance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in merchandising, retail operations, or inventory coordination
  • Strong understanding of retail trends, product life cycles, and consumer preferences
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with merchandising or inventory software is an advantage
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven retail environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php22,000.00 per month
