About the role

At AGnP Corporation, we are seeking an experienced and driven Credit Investigator/Collector to join our Accounts team. This is a full-time position based in Pasig City, Metro Manila. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for investigating and collecting on outstanding customer accounts, playing a vital part in maintaining our company's financial health and profitability.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conduct thorough investigations into past-due accounts to determine the reasons for non-payment and develop effective collection strategies
  2. Negotiate with customers to arrange payment plans and settlements, ensuring the timely collection of outstanding balances
  3. Maintain detailed records of all account activities and collection efforts, providing regular updates to the Accounts team
  4. Identify and escalate any high-risk accounts that require additional attention or legal action
  5. Assist in the development and implementation of credit policies and procedures to minimise the risk of future delinquencies

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 6months-1 year of experience in credit investigation or collection
  2. Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive conversations with customers in a professional and empathetic manner
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of delinquencies and devise effective collection strategies
  4. Proficient in using credit management software and data analysis tools to track and report on account activities
  5. Thorough understanding of credit policies, regulations, and best practices within the Accounting/Finance industry
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet department and company objectives
