ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT (ACCOUNTS PAYABLE)

Job Summary:

The Accounting Assistant (Accounts Payable) is responsible for processing, monitoring, and maintaining vendor invoices and payments to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions. The role supports the Accounting Department in daily AP operations and helps maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process, verify, and reconcile vendor invoices and expense reports.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper approval of all payables.
  • Prepare and process payments (checks, online transfers, etc.) in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and update vendor files, statements, and payment records.
  • Monitor AP aging and follow up on outstanding balances or discrepancies.
  • Reconcile AP transactions and assist in month-end closing activities.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams regarding billing issues and payment status.
  • Generate AP-related reports as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
  • At least 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
  • With hands-on experience using QuickBooks (required).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Good communication and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
