
Finance and Rostering Officer

We are seeking a Finance and Rostering Officer to join our team, playing a key role in managing all aspects of 24/7 rostering and overall financial integrity. This unique position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of financial management and a knack for efficient rostering.
Key ResponsibilitiesRostering
- Manage and adjust rosters using FlowLogic for nine 24/7 SIL houses.
- Ensure rostering coverage is aligned with client support plans and complies with employment laws and the SCHADS Award.
- Consult with Team Leaders to maintain compliance and accuracy.
Payroll & Accounts
- Process payroll accurately and ensure timely payment of wages, superannuation, and payroll taxes.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment follow-ups.
- Monitor client budgets and funding to ensure invoicing is aligned with their allocations.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare and present financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).
- Ensure all financial activities comply with Australian financial regulations and standards
- Minimum Cert IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping or a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Australian financial compliance, governance, and accounting standards.
- Proven experience with Xero and FlowLogic.
- High attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in the disability, aged, or community services sector is preferred.
