QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of any 4-year Course (preferably Maritime course)
  • Must have experience in Recruitment on a manning industry
  • Preferably with seagoing experience
  • Proficient in Maritime International and National Regulations
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for timely attend to the recruitment and sourcing of competent and qualified seafarer as per requirement by the Principals.
  • Responsible to recruit well documented seafarers, well experienced and with good records from other Manning Agencies
  • Responsible for initiating marketing techniques to increase the Company's pool of qualified seamen.
  • Responsible to research from the Maritime sector new innovations that will propagate KJCM to be among the best Agency in the Maritime industry.
  • Responsible for recruiting and sourcing competent and qualified seafarers for the company.

DETAILS:

  1. Responsible for recruiting and sourcing competent and qualified seafarers for the Company.
  2. Monitoring online applicants on social media and QR code.
  3. Responsible for monitoring and conducting initial interviews of all applicants, checking the validity of their documents, endorsement for initial PEME, deployment on per fleet request of inhouse cadet.
  4. Maintains a database of all in house cadets and files regarding their application.
  5. Updates the status of recruitment report and provides details on salaries and present demand in the market.
  6. Coordinates with the Fleet Managers /Crewing Managers for securing qualified seafarers.
  7. Prepares weekly and monthly recruitment report and distribute to Management.
  8. Review and checks applicants resume prior endorsing to Crewing Section.
  9. Negotiates with new applicants with the approval of Fleet Manager.
  10. Monitors the workflow of encoded crew, making sure that every request from crewing department is being catered.
  11. In charge of preparing market wages for principal request.
  12. To perform other duties as may be assigned by the management.
