Job Description
Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to support accounting and financial operations within a logistics-focused environment. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing billing and payments, and supporting financial reporting and cost control initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports in QuickBooks, ensuring timely payments and accurate financial tracking.
  • Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and freight invoices to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Utilize Excel to generate financial reports, analyze expenses, and monitor budget performance.
  • Manage billing and payments related to transportation, warehousing, and logistics services.
  • Ensure proper categorization of logistics-related expenses and revenue streams.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with procurement, operations, and finance teams to improve cost control and financial efficiency.
  • Monitor cash flow and identify discrepancies or irregularities in financial records.
  • Stay up to date with accounting regulations, tax laws, and industry best practices relevant to logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Work with ERP or accounting systems commonly used in logistics environments.
