About the role

Maagir Farm Corporation is seeking an Bookkeeper to join our team in our Makati office. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of our growing agricultural business. This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation and benefits.

What you'll be doing

  • Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and receipts
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis
  • Prepare and submit payroll and tax filings in a timely manner
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed

What we're looking for

  • 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in the agricultural industry
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately
  • Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping principles, practices, and procedures
  • Understanding of payroll processing and tax compliance
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
