We're Hiring: Bookkeeper

Location: Ayala Avenue, Makati City, Philippines [Hybrid arrangement after onsite training]

Full-Time (mid-shift and night shift role)

We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized
Bookkeeper
to join our team If you're passionate about accurate financial tracking and have experience in logistics finance, we'd love to hear from you.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including
    accounts payable
    ,
    accounts receivable
    , and
    general ledger entries
    .
  • Process
    invoices
    ,
    purchase orders
    , and
    expense reports
    using
    QuickBooks
    .
  • Reconcile
    bank statements
    ,
    vendor accounts
    , and
    freight invoices
    to ensure data accuracy.
  • Generate and analyze financial reports using
    Excel
    to support budgeting and expense tracking.
  • Manage
    billing and payments
    for
    transportation, warehousing, and logistics services
    .
  • Ensure correct categorization of logistics-related
    expenses
    and
    revenue streams
    .
  • Support the preparation of
    monthly
    ,
    quarterly
    , and
    annual financial reports
    for management.
  • Collaborate with
    procurement
    ,
    operations
    , and
    finance
    teams to optimize cost control measures.
  • Monitor
    cash flow
    and identify discrepancies or irregularities in financial data.
  • Stay current on
    accounting regulations
    ,
    tax laws
    , and industry best practices related to logistics finance.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in
    bookkeeping
    , preferably in a
    logistics, supply chain
    , or
    transportation
    environment.
  • Proficiency with
    QuickBooks
    ,
    Excel
    , and ERP/accounting software commonly used in logistics operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting standards and compliance.
