Qualifications (Required):

  • DOLE-certified Safety Officer 2 (SO2).
  • Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) Training Certificate.


Responsibilities:

  • Submits all required health and safety statutory and regulatory reports in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Plans, implements, and monitors OHS policies and programs to achieve zero disabling accidents and fatalities.
  • Conducts risk assessments for critical processes, especially during major concreting and structural activities.
  • Investigates accidents/incidents and submits detailed reports with root cause analyses to management.
  • Recommends and/or conducts health and safety training for employees and safety orientations for subcontractors.
  • Represents the company in safety and health associations, meetings, conferences, and conventions.
  • Provides OSH technical consultancy services to management and project teams.
  • Conducts regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments at project sites; recommends and enforces corrective actions.
  • Ensures effective communication and coordination with Project Managers, Site Engineers, staff, clients, and subcontractors regarding safety protocols and hazard mitigation.

Preferred / Advantageous:

  • DOLE-certified Safety Officer 3 (SO3).
  • Working at Heights Training Certificate.
  • Scaffold Safety Training Certificate (especially for overseeing scaffolding operations).
