Job Summary:

The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring that all safety protocols and regulations are strictly implemented and followed at the workplace. The role involves conducting regular inspections, risk assessments, and safety training to maintain a safe and compliant working environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and enforce compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and government regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards, unsafe conditions, or unsafe practices.
  • Prepare and submit safety reports, incident reports, and accident investigations to management.
  • Develop and implement safety programs, emergency response plans, and preventive measures.
  • Conduct safety orientations and toolbox meetings for all site personnel and subcontractors.
  • Ensure that all workers have proper PPE and that safety signage and equipment are in place and functional.
  • Coordinate with the Project Engineer, Site Supervisor, and HR Department regarding safety issues and compliance.
  • Recommend corrective and preventive actions to eliminate unsafe conditions or behaviors.
  • Assist in the documentation and submission of DOLE-required reports such as Construction Safety and Health Program (CSHP).
  • Promote safety awareness and culture among all employees.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field.
  • Must be a DOLE-accredited Safety Officer (SO2 or SO3).
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in construction or industrial safety (preferred).
  • Knowledgeable in OSH standards, risk management, and accident investigation.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Php22, Php25,000.00 per month
