About the Role
The Accountant / Office Administrator will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records while supporting day-to-day office operations.
This role is ideal for a well-rounded individual who is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys both accounting and general administrative work.
You will coordinate closely with HR, Site Engineers, and Management to ensure that financial, documentation, and office processes run efficiently.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance
- Prepare and record financial transactions (journal entries, disbursements, and reimbursements).
- Maintain general ledgers, books of accounts, and ensure compliance with BIR regulations.
- Handle payroll encoding, statutory contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, ECC), and loan monitoring.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and monthly reconciliations.
- Coordinate with HR and Project Engineers on timekeeping and site expense reports.
- Process invoices, supplier billings, and petty cash replenishments.
- Support the Finance Director in budget tracking and audit preparations.
Office & Administrative Support
- Monitor office supplies, manage deliveries, and process purchase requests.
- Prepare and file contracts, receipts, and vouchers (digital and physical).
- Assist in documentation of company policies, staff records, and clearances.
- Help organize meetings, internal reports, and office schedules.
- Communicate with suppliers, government agencies, and service providers as needed.
- Support management with ad-hoc administrative tasks and internal coordination.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or related field.
- At least 1–3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or office administration (construction background preferred).
- Knowledge of BIR filing procedures, statutory remittances, and basic payroll.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Google Workspace, and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Willing to work full-time on-site in Iloilo City.
