Job Summary: The Accounting Specialist is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies. This role involves processing invoices, reconciling accounts, assisting in financial reporting, and supporting internal audits.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.

Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payments.

Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.

Prepare financial reports, summaries, and statements as required.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.

Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or potential issues.

Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations and decision-making.

Maintain confidentiality of financial information and sensitive data.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proven experience as an Accounting Specialist or in a similar role. (2 to 3 years min)

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php45, Php55,000.00 per month
