Key Responsibilities:

  • General Ledger Management: Oversee and maintain the general ledger by auditing all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and proper classification of expenses and revenues.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, with corresponding issuance, and other financial accounts to ensure accurate records and resolve discrepancies.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Audit accounts payable and receivable processes. Involve auditing invoices, ensuring payments are made and received on time, and ensure that all collections are properly recorded in each customer's account.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist with preparing and filing tax returns and ensure compliance with all local government agencies.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of financial forecasts, providing insights and analysis of variances from projections.
  • Internal Controls: Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting and safeguard company assets.
  • Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and suggest improvements to accounting processes, workflows, and systems to increase efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Experience: Atleast 1+ year of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or small business setting. Newly licensed CPA without prior experience are also encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
