Position Summary

The Business Development Officer is responsible for generating new business opportunities, expanding market presence, and establishing strategic partnerships for the company's OOH advertising assets.

Key Responsibilities

  1. New Business Acquisition
  2. Identify and pursue potential clients.
  3. Conduct prospecting activities such as cold calls and client visits.
  4. Present company capabilities and site inventories.
  5. Prepare and deliver sales presentations.

  6. Market Research & Opportunity Scanning

  7. Monitor OOH industry trends.
  8. Identify emerging locations and potential inventory.
  9. Research competitors and pricing.
  10. Track client advertising cycles.

  11. Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

  12. Develop sales pipelines.
  13. Recommend pricing strategies and promotional bundles.
  14. Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

  15. Client Engagement & Relationship Building

  16. Build long-term client relationships.
  17. Attend meetings and industry networking events.
  18. Follow up on proposals, negotiations, and contracts.

  19. Proposal & Documentation Management

  20. Prepare proposals, presentations, and media kits.
  21. Coordinate technical specs with internal teams.
  22. Ensure complete documentation prior to booking.

  23. Coordination with Internal Teams

  24. Work with marketing for collaterals.
  25. Coordinate with operations for site assessments.
  26. Collaborate with Finance on costing and compliance.
  27. Turn over closed deals to Account Managers.

Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.

- Experience in advertising, media, or sales.

- Strong negotiation and communication skills.

- Proficient in MS Office and CRM platforms.

SCOPE OF WORK: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (OOH Advertising)

A. Lead Generation & Prospecting

- Build and maintain a lead pipeline.

- Research companies that run OOH campaigns.

- Conduct outbound sales activities.

- Schedule meetings and presentations.

B. Client Engagement & Sales Conversion

- Present OOH media options and rates.

- Conduct client site oculars.

- Negotiate deals and finalize contracts.

C. Market & Competitive Analysis

- Monitor competitor movements and pricing.

- Identify emerging commercial areas for expansion.

- Recommend new billboard and LED locations.

D. Proposal Development

- Develop customized OOH proposals.

- Coordinate mockups with creative team.

- Obtain visibility studies from operations.

E. Strategic Partnerships

- Build partnerships with property owners, malls, and LGUs.

- Explore co-branding and joint campaigns.

- Assist in securing OOH inventory rights.

F. Sales Administration & Reporting

- Maintain CRM records.

- Submit weekly reports.

- Track renewals and follow up on payments.

G. Coordination for Campaign Turnover

- Brief Account Managers post-sale.

- Provide campaign requirements and expectations.

H. Continuous Learning & Industry Involvement

- Stay updated on OOH innovations.

- Attend expos, trainings, and conferences.
