The Account Manager is responsible for independently directing and coordinating day-to-day Agency business efforts on behalf of the Client's business towards results, in order to support and contribute to the objective of sustaining and growing NuWorks' business.

The role stays up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices and is able to identify new opportunities and strategies for improving overall performance as well as growth.

KEY RESULT AREAS:

1) CLIENT MANAGEMENT AND RELATIONSHIP

a) Establish positive good working relations with Clients, ensuring that day-to-day Agency business efforts on behalf of Clients' products and/or services are well directed and coordinated.

  • Establish a relationship with assigned key Clients
  • Be able to craft emails and messages to Client
  • Little to no delays of deliverables
  • Consistent and accurate day-to-day coordination with internal and external Clients on projects
  • Consistent bi-monthly project status update coordination with line manager and Client
  • Understand Client's requirements and asks
  • Ability to negotiate timings with Client
  • Build positive relationship with key Clients
  • Identify new opportunities for Clients
  • Develop and sustain a proactive experience with key Clients that ensures retention and growth of scope with the Agency.

2) ACCOUNT / BRAND / PROJECT MANAGEMENT

a) Lead the internal team by ensuring all projects and day-to-day deliverables are done excellently, effectively, on-time, and within the Client budget consistently.

  • Efficiently lead meetings in terms of the organization aspect (provide agenda, brief parties, tackle the tasks at hand, recap agreements, next steps, discuss timelines, etc)
  • Send minutes of meetings on Slack for teams and via email for Clients and partner agencies
  • Set timely alignment meetings and calendar invites with the team
  • Ability to negotiate timings with team
  • Provide assertive and constructive builds and strategic insights to team related to the project/ campaign
  • Should have established a great relationship with team such that he is seen as a trusted and credible AM/ brand lead

b) Ability to consistently lead multiple project types simultaneously and successfully

  • Understand and execute the fundamental processes of CSD (project tracker, load tracker, JRs, agreements, emailing, etc)
  • Little to no delays of deliverables
  • Cross-check deliverables given JRs issued and agreements, to ensure that there are no errors upon submission to Clients

3) PROCESS IMPROVEMENT & LOAD TRACKING

  • Master the internal and external processes and outputs, while contributing to and facilitating internal and external improvements in order to optimize processes and outputs.
  • No tardiness in terms of attendance
  • Consistently track time through ClickUp Tasks and file/ log MiHCM daily
  • Lead BU check-ins and check-outs (when it's your turn in the rotation)
  • Suggest ways on how to improve working efficiently as an individual
  • Suggest ways on how to improve and make the ways of working with the team and Client/s more efficient

4) BUSINESS & INDUSTRY AWARENESS

  • Keep abreast with advertising industry trends and develop business acumen in order to be proactive in actualizing them to campaigns and projects.
  • Know and understand the business of the brand being handled
  • Create a proper competitive scan for the brands handled that touches on the following fields: general advertising with more focus on digital and ecomm
  • Consistently track/ monitor campaign progress/ results and share with team, to improve the work
  • Consistent knowledge and updates sharing of related and relevant efforts to our brand's industry/ advertising/ ecomm/ new platforms.

5) TRAINING

  • Be able to pass the Certified Digital Marketing Fundamentals Fundamentals on Digital Marketing course and get certified accordingly
  • Understand the basics of ASC, DTI, FDA applications and successfully execute at least (1) type of application
  • Join at least (2) B&L sessions and other seminars from #NWAcademy - Share experiences and learnings with the team (either/ or BU, CSD team)
  • Complete curated B&L & other L&D sessions required by the line manager:
  • Key takeaways per module must be documented via Gdocs and learnings must be applied (ex. How to use the NW Google Slides template)

6) INTERPERSONAL

  • Establish and build rapport with the team (BU)
  • Get to know CSD teammates and Shared Services - build connections with the rest of NW through participating in different employee engagement and L&D activities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, business, communication, marketing, PR, and/or other related courses.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in years of experience in client servicing or a proven track record in a similar position.
  • Is respectful and can get along with different personalities
  • Holds his/herself accountable, open to receiving and giving feedback
  • Organizes his/her life and tasks well with strong skills and experience in Project Management
  • Positive outlook and personality on both work and personal aspects, willing to be trained hard while sharing his or her own perspective and voice.
